Welcome!

That is exactly what you get when you arrive at one of my workshops… a warm welcome from me and an even warmer welcome from my two border collies, Chas and Dave!

You will be greeted with a beverage of your choice from my husband John and then you can begin to relax and enjoy yourself.

I will tell you a little about the wonders of silver clay, where it was born, who makes it now but I will withhold the MAGIC until later!

Next, and some of my lovely students give me a bit of a frown, you will play with play dough! Yes play dough! Some people love the smell of it, others talk about memories involved with it but you will soon realise why you are given this opportunity to play with it

Next comes the real thing! Silver clay! The looks on some of the faces I teach is of total fear, others sheer excitement but absolutely no need to worry, I will carefully guide you through the next few stages…

After firing the silver clay takes on a completely different persona, I am not going to divulge anymore but I love the reaction to all the hard work of the session… why don’t you come and give it a go? I know you will love what you make!
