Rings in Silver — Saturday 3 October 2026

About the Piece

Take your silver clay skills further and spend a creative day making a fine silver ring of your own.

Designed for returning students and guests with previous silver clay experience, this workshop covers calculating for shrinkage, forming a strong and comfortable band, adding texture or botanical details, and refining your ring before firing.

Silver clay, tools, materials, refreshments, treats and a delicious lunch prepared by Helen are included. Gemstones are not included, as stone setting would take too long within the day.

Held in Sue's welcoming home studio in Martlesham, near Woodbridge. Private workshops are also available for small groups.

Suitable for ages 16+. Anyone under 18 must attend with a participating adult. Please note that a dog lives at the property; please get in touch before booking if you have a severe allergy or are uncomfortable around dogs.

Sourcing & Materials

Sustainable Materials

Each piece begins with intention. Sue works with recycled silver and eco-friendly materials, crafting every design by hand using sustainable silver clay techniques. It’s jewellery with a lighter footprint and a deeper story, one that honours both the planet and the people who wear it.

Handmade silver coastal jewellery including seahorse earrings, shell pendant necklaces, and ocean-inspired charms displayed with seashells.

HANDMADE & ONE OF A KIND

No mass production. Every design is made slowly and soulfully in Sue’s UK studio – shaped by hand, fired, polished and finished with care. From organic textures to natural imperfections, each piece is completely unique, just like the person wearing it.
